Publishing Partners
Authors
Authors are central partners in the Institute’s publishing mission. IST Institute Press welcomes proposals for original scholarly monographs, edited volumes, educational materials, interdisciplinary studies, public scholarship, and other works that advance the objectives of the Global Lineage Initiative.
Accepted authors work collaboratively with the Institute to bring important ideas to scholarly and public audiences.

Academic Appointments
Research Fellows
Research Fellows contribute to the intellectual life of the Institute through independent or collaborative research aligned with its mission. Fellowship projects may focus on systems thinking, human rights, legal history, historical inquiry, intellectual traditions, or interdisciplinary research.
Appointments may be associated with specific research initiatives or broader Institute programs.

Interns
The Institute offers internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in research, publishing, education, digital humanities, historical scholarship, and nonprofit administration.
Interns gain practical experience while working alongside scholars and Institute leadership on active projects.

The Global Lineage Initiative depends upon high-quality translations that make historically significant works accessible to contemporary readers.
The Institute periodically contracts translators with demonstrated expertise in relevant languages and subject areas. Translation projects may include critical editions, annotations, introductions, and editorial collaboration.
Translation opportunities are awarded according to project needs.

To protect the safety and professional independence of members working in diverse political and institutional environments, service may be publicly acknowledged or confidential at the member’s discretion.
